As part of 麻豆社' 2024 multi-facility metal recycling program, our teams recycled 14,516,503 pounds of metal between seven of our facilities.
This initiative is a
key component of our Stewardship 360 program, reinforcing GDEP鈥檚 dedication to
our team, community, and environment. Thanks to the dedication of our
employees, we have significantly reduced landfill waste, minimized pollution of
natural resources, and contributed to economic growth by supporting jobs in
metal recycling and processing.
Michael Sirmon, GDEP鈥檚 VP Manufacturing Operations, said, 鈥淚 am proud of our team for their commitment to GDEP鈥檚 metal recycling efforts. It is a large part of our Stewardship 360 program as we produce less energy in manufacturing recycled materials while achieving cost-savings for an overall sustainable operation.鈥�
